I am personally happy with my 10 fingerless raptorskin gloves that I got while trying to farm my warlock satchel belt. They can be used on any class and turn into materia rather quickly. Chances are I will get atleast a few good materia from them. With the cobalt arrows on the other hand, they will not serve any purpose other than for me to attack 8 times when i switch to archer. When a normal battle takes anywhere from 300-500 arrows 8 of them isn't going to go very far. That is really the point I am trying to make, when you open the chest and it gives you arrows it is pretty much like not getting anything at all, atleast with the other items you can make a bit of use out of them.

It may have been a poor choice of wording on my part, but the underlying point is that you don't go to coffers to farm Raptorskin Satchel Belts or Wand of Tides. The other drops are filler, regardless of their potential to create valuable materia.

I understand your point, but I don't see it the same as you do. Thus the "IMO" which started my post. I don't believe there's any point in worrying about what else drops from the coffers apart from their intended gear drop. Everything else is "filler" whether it's good, or bad filler.

well IMO, i dont think its such a big deal for people to want the arrow drop to be on par with the value of the other gear drops. If it was 99 arrows it wouldn't hurt anyone so i say raise the arrow drops to make the non u/u gear drops be more equal in value. some people, obsly not you, are very grateful for the drops they get even if they are not U/U so a usable amount of arrow will help them out.

Even 99 arrows might be useless, the point is, its a slap in the face. Its like "here is rubbish for all your hard work".

Lets not get name calling here, the OP and probably many more hate it when they go through 2hrs of work only to get squat. If it was 200-300 you could at least make good use of them the next 2hrs if your archer or maybe even sell them n make a lil bit of gil.

Need to chillax a bit!

People need to realize they are not entitled to items just because they put in minimal effort to get an item.

A normal battle?

Moogle takes 250-275 arrows (15 things to kill... 15-19 minute non-stop attacking).
Not that 8 cobalt arrows is an excellent prize, just pointing out the over exaggeration!

I think I'd rather get a few thousand gil over 8 of anything usable lol :D

As stated above, this is freakin' unbalanced taking into account the fact that you have to farm the key aswell...

I don't know imo I assume that's worth it. You are after all fighting an NM not some primal.

i guess having the "bad luck" contents in a chest once i a while isn't too bad, but 8 arrows is kinda sad, could be at least some medicine in the future that helps you a little
