The answer to 90% of the things on this forum for any SE people reading these boards is simple. When there is no consensus on something, include both options in the game and let people toggle, then everyone will complain anyways.

My screen is big enough to do that and yeah i would do that because ease of access for my bags when i'm sorting them compared to the pile of crap we have called an inventory is a lot more terrible. I prefer to move my items where i want them to be sorted. IF the system they have coming is anywhere as good as WoWs inventory system is then I can't see the problem. who plays like that? Everyone has Bagnon or some other form of add on.

This is the real answer to the criticism of WoW inventory display. Everyone mitigates the shortcomings of the UI with user generated mods that are far more sensible (to the end user) and personally tailored. If SE follows through on their own mod friendly environment then not only will you be able to toggle the two default views (list and item view) but you'll also be able to say "screw both of these" and take the third road.

I never used a bag addon.... I feel left out :(

If they do indeed it would help quite a bit with quite a few of the small issues that flat out annoy the hell out of me.

I like icons, lists are fine. What I really want are many sorting options whichever way they do it. A toggle for those who hate one format or the other would be a good idea.

Yoshi has some of the worst ideas i've ever seen.
