Please remove esuna from cross role actions

Please make esuna an instant cast.

I hate that weird cast time so much you don't even understand
It's like... trying to make me mad by me trying to dodge a mechanic at the same time i start casting and then it either works or doesn't

But otherwise: I'd rather have Lucid dreaming off of cross role actions than esuna...

Sch never had a shroud equivalent so i don't ever see that happening. Esunas like .98 cast time with current ss? Like how is that even being interrupted for you during a slide cast lol. I think i like the title the way it is.

It doesn't happen often but it happens when you start casting and instantly need to move. Then it either cancels or not
Also i do think that the cast time makes the global cooldown pretty akward but thats just me.
And you're right, Sch never had Lucid dreaming of any kind... It just makes less sense in the cross role than esuna for me, but both in there is not a good idea.
I'm too lazy to always switch around my cross role stuff so i always have Esuna anyways, considering people WILL eat status effects if there are any to eat.

They should just rework the cross role for healer/Tank because a lot of these skills are a MUST and not optional and then you have to make macros just to switch between all the useful skills.
And 1 button more will not lead to overkill button bloat.

This is what frustrates me most about the new system. With the old system, once you setup what you wanted, calls for swaps were rare. Now (if you want to optimize) pretty much anything under 'high end duty' requires you to swap stuff when you plan on doing it. Hell, o4s requires us healers to change out skills just going from exdeath to neo.

Aetherflow used to recover twice as much MP as it does now. It was nerfed when they gained access to Lucid Dreaming. No reason why it couldn't happen now. It's almost certainly among the top 3 most common taken role actions.

That it restores mp is about the only thing they have in common and they don't even do it the same. It doesn't refresh over time and has no agro manipulation. I think lucid was added partly cause luminiferous aether was trash cause it wasn't a straight enmity drop, it was more like a quelling strikes, which is awful lol. If there's a second candidate here it's certainly protect. I'm really hoping that protect is reconsidered as well.

I wish they would introduce Shell as means to remove a negative status effect and reapply Protect to a single target. Give it a full 2.5 sec cast and take care of both jobs. Then you could swap Protect for Shell and be jist fine in case someone dies without needing Esuna.

Um... well no, Lum. Aether wasn't trash. It was actually stronger than Shroud in terms of MP restoration (Same potency, more ticks). Being an aggro generation modifier instead of an aggro dump just means that if you were using it for that purpose you used it before CU instead of after. Aggro reduction is still aggro reduction.

SCH didn't have an aggro control skill because it doesn't need one. Even if you're intentionally trying to, it is insanely hard to steal threat as a SCH if your tank is at all competent, because your generation is split between yourself and your fairy.

I never said it's mp restoration was trash, only that it's trash cause it's like quelling strikes. An instant drop is so much more useful then reducing enmity generation, that's why diversion is also garbage. If the mt dies and you're now top of the threat list that cd does nothing for you. Ast isn't even a class that can burst enough where u would rly need a quelling strikes, so i think you're just trying to nitpick here.

Diversion isn't trash just because Lucid Dreaming/Elusive Jump/Tactician/Refresh are better. Its designed to be used before your burst. If youre popping it when you already have ripped from the tank then youre doing it wrong.
