Top community wishes for the new year

Ala Mhigo and Doma being opened up as proper cities (not just the 'Ala Mhigan Quarter'/'Doman Quarter'). I mean, if Ishgard could be locked for an extended period during the game's storyline and then opened up as a part of it, Ala Mhigo and Doma can be too after completing Stormblood's storyline (just keep new hypothetical new Job npcs from being found there and things will be fine).

New glamour outfits as well (especially those gorgeous Elizabethian gowns the noble ladies of Ishgard wear). :)

1. Remove 4-person requirement for FC crafting.
2. Add a lock function for menus like the ones we have in potd.
3. New relics to be fun, hopefully including relic armor like they've mentioned before.

This one needs care if they do it. While it would be cool to see something like far-eastern Roegadyn (Gosetsu's tribe), I wouldn't want the lore team to feel they have to shoehorn in some cheap-feeling variants of the other races just because "every race has to have a third tribe now" (much like the "every job has to have a job gauge" problem). I'd much rather they do it only where it feels natural even if that means some races end up with more tribes than others.

I would love to see Viera added to the game or a race that looks different from the current ones, like for example: Nu Mou. Personaly, I dislike the Lupin the current ones in the game look like a Hyur with a wolf mask. Either Ivalice Viera (community has been asking for it since ARR) or a race that does not look like hyur with animal part.

Chocobos are getting saddles with inventory space...which are accessed separately from inventory, not accessible at all in instances (dungeons/raids), and not directly linkable to retainer "sell from inventory" (gotta take it out and put it into normal inventory first).

Yeah, I've heard MrHappy say that over and over about the Chocobo, but it's not functionally the same as what people want. The issue is that while you can store the bait and lures in your Chocobo inventory, you cannot access any of those items in that inventory from the bait menu while fishing. You still will need to stop fishing, open the inventory, move the tackle to your inventory and then apply it. People want a specific inventory that bait goes into that you can get to any of the items straight from the apply bait action without all those extra steps.

I'd like to see some changes to the character creation, whether it be additional stuff or an overhaul of some of the old stuff.
Hyurs and Elezen in particular I think need a bit of work but I'm probably in the minority on that.

I mostly want a revamped character creation system, more faces, more features, more facial markings, scars, hair, etc. Plus more body options like muscles on both genders/all races, booty slider, maybe arm or thigh slider so folks can be jacked or thicc if they wish.

I just want a new healer, I don't care what it is. SB broke my heart by not offering any new race/character creator options and nothing but DPS. :( Here's hoping 5.0 does not disappoint.

Any additional races or classes will have to wait until the next expansion, same with Ishgard housing, if it ever happens.

My wish for 2018 is that in continuing with the theme of overhauling the glamour system, we get an overhaul of the dye system. Multi-channel dyeing (different parts of a clothing piece can be dyed separately) would be fantastic.

EDIT: Also, please make the L60 dungeon gear dyeable. Some of that gear is really nice and it would be great to be able to customize it a bit.

Proper open world pvp. Add this and I won't complain about hunt pulling or soloing FATEs ;p

Maybe on next expansion when they (+refugees coming home) settled in, especially after Doma is rebuilt. I don't want it to look like Rhalgr's Reach, sort of temporary/all over the place.
