Please make a vote surrender option in Rival Wings

Nah, it definitely wasn't idiotic of the leading team to block us from the ice, then drive us back to our base, nor for the other team to try to pincer them, fail, then hit us anyways. And perhaps I take too much credit for it, though I took notice that we'd literally pushed back both other teams (thus we weren't lacking for strength). In the moment, I was simply the one who said "Screw this, we're not going down like that. Let's return the favor!" And people rallied behind me. We could've accepted the L, but we didn't, and tied for first (which counts as a win for mounts/achievements).

Had we simply accepted that there was no coming back, or worse, tried to rely on ice to save us, we'd have just lost. I hold that moment close to my heart as proof that sometimes - not always - but sometimes, just getting fired up and fighting back can make a huge difference.

Humm maybe 20 minutes is a little too harsh we see so much the timeout. no need for a surrender option, i think its more a problem of times or hp of the tower and core.

it's already bad enough that half the people playing give up the second they lose mid, it'll be even worse when at the 18 minute mark they decide they'll just wait out until they can surrender.

i'm pretty sure less than half the actual players in the game actually even read the chat, so i dunno how well that'd work. i've called things before and still had nobody show up.

I can see this being abused so much. PVP is already terribly toxic if you're unlucky enough to get certain players. I've had people SCREAMING in chat that it was a guaranteed loss after the first few minutes of the game starting. Of course we often went on to win or come second but a button to vote abandon (which is all it is) & the associated graphical annoyances on screen would have made it far worse.

I do not think we need a surrender button but I would like to see timer decreased to 15 minutes. Shatter is also 20 minutes but it usually only last 16 minutes.

I am curious how is the mode even doing now.

If they were to implement this, the only way I'd accept it is if you surrender any rewards as well. No tomes, NO XP, nothing. There's winning, there's losing, then there's giving up. Giving up doesn't deserve a reward, and that would be a major way to discourage frequent use of it. Consider also the fact that you get nothing in PvE when you vote abandon. I consider that fair.

I've seen games turn around even at the 3-minute mark because people kept trying, kept pushing, kept leading and kept fighting.

Don't give up until it's literal seconds left on the clock. Mid isn't everything and you can still win even with both towers crushed.
