Nah, it definitely wasn't idiotic of the leading team to block us from the ice, then drive us back to our base, nor for the other team to try to pincer them, fail, then hit us anyways. And perhaps I take too much credit for it, though I took notice that we'd literally pushed back both other teams (thus we weren't lacking for strength). In the moment, I was simply the one who said "Screw this, we're not going down like that. Let's return the favor!" And people rallied behind me. We could've accepted the L, but we didn't, and tied for first (which counts as a win for mounts/achievements).
Had we simply accepted that there was no coming back, or worse, tried to rely on ice to save us, we'd have just lost. I hold that moment close to my heart as proof that sometimes - not always - but sometimes, just getting fired up and fighting back can make a huge difference.
