Yes. Let's add something that is completely out of place in this game. That makes sense and doesn't give the world's culture even MORE confusion. I'd rather we keep with what Akihiko Yoshida has laid down.

You know there's a moment where even if you don't want it but you have it you're going to get on it at least once. Don't lie. Don't even try to lie. Also, Why the hell can't we have ride able mobs? We can tame them in other FFs but we can't ride them because why?

Can we have that sitting animation? maybe "/sit2" or something.

We already knew these mounts were in the works so they should be no surprise. I wouldn't have thought SE would release one so early though.

On another note. You forgot to mention flying schools (8), giant bugs (9), and I'm quite sure I'm forgetting a lot of other things we rode around in.

And as a distinguished Final Fantasy title they already have a ton of worlds to choose from that they could have based an MMO off of but hey we got this terrible world and all these humans players are supposed to consider "different races".

i think people often forget the word fantasy in final fantasy. thats right kids, its not real.

Well, If a Beastmaster was given ride-able mobs, I'd fully support it (esp in battle). It would make total sense.

But if everyone online is automatically given a Goobbue to ride, it ends up looking absolutely ridiculous.

Imagine 20 people riding Goobbues in that pic instead of just one.

If you can't see how that diminishes the artistic integrity of the game, then I don't know what else could be said to convince you.


Supposing that it IS a player mount (and it sure looks like it) lets just hope that it is slower than a chocobo and is summoned by an item with a one-week cooldown timer on it.
