Canonically she is a Highlander whatever her in game appearance may seem to be. Just her father was slight of frame for a Highlander, she is aswell( same can be said for many npc's in the game Conrad, Wilfred, Minfilia, ect...).

In every article i have seen, she has ever and always been referred to as a Highlander, should you have evidence to the contrary, please share.

Sort of on topic, Lalafells continuesly get made fun of by the other races (cept Roes), yet when I call a cat person a weeb they get all triggered :p

As i stated, Conrad and Wilfred also fit the bill, also you do recall he was a spy correct? One would think he would insure his origins be not be broadcast to the enemy he was trying to infiltrate due cultural practices. Again, waiting on that Midlander confirmation.
