FFXIV with VR ability

Lol I've tried going to 1st person view while wearing the psvr and it was a good experience considering it feels like you watching the game through a window with a screen, and being a lalafel it gave me a lot of pretty good angles to look at stuffs (some good some bad, trust me you don't want to look up underneath Titan).

I'm guessing FF18 is when we'll see VR being added, if the tech survives till then... hopefully, but I would still would like to see it being considered for 14.

The adoption rate of VR is still a bit too low, sadly.

And this is coming from someone with an Occulus Rift.

Second. When i tried VR it was obviously no longer a gimmick. It took my breath. I thought I knew what i was getting into, but most people cant even describe it. and last, I support FFXIV VR but the hud will need to be changed a little. Camera will need to be allowed to rotate around more freely and then just add side by side stereoscopic rendering. This will be hard for those who play with kb and dont have good muscle memory, but for controller/gaming pad+gaming mice users itll be fine.

I feel like you lot are taking my OP out of contexts i was mainly talking about being able to do gathering in VR as an option or even crafting but not the full game.

I tried playing FFXIV on my PSVR but i didn't think about trying to go into first person view might try that out lol. But at the same time i was in POD so.

With games like Rigs which in my opinion is still one of the best looking PSVR games graphically and Resident Evil 7 comes second and even Robinson The Journey which had amazing graphics. I can't see how phone VR would be that grat to be honest with you.

But you can't zoom all the way out in VR!

I feel like SE are getting there feet wet first in VR with that FF15 Monster of deep add on. For them Japan is there major target anyway and VR has done very well over there i can see them trying to do a full VR game sooner than later for there Japanese market/audience. Time to play Paranormal Activity The Lost Soul and scare my self to death lol.

Again I wasn't talking about the full game i was talking about gathering or crafting even fishing as an option in VR!

I'm sure some day we'll have a nice VR MMO with cutting edge headsets so that we can have our brains sucked out and stuck inside our character while the real world panics over all the people in comas >.>
