Ridiculous - your saying that asking for equality is ridiculous, okay well then feel free to not read this thread, if you think it is that ridiculous why are you commenting - like i said you are one of them that is not effected by these conditions so why are you posting - honestly just makes you look as if you are against equality for disability. Either way people with the same conditions as me had an unfair disadvantage in this event that is a fact.
Listen and listen well my point is a valid point they have systems in place for other disabilities there WAS NOT anything in place for this event today, meaning people with the same conditions as myself had issues with this event.

I applaud you for trying so, so hard. But it doesn't seem like your message is connecting with a lot of people. Perhaps it's because you're attacking the people you want sympathy from.

Wow OP, I mean, these seasonal events are meant to be able to be done by 99% of the community. And since it's an MMO you're encouraged to swap hints with and seek help from others, whether you really need to or not. On top of that XIV's community is really friendly for low/no-stakes events like this so most everyone is happy to help those who need it. Why are you acting like SE personally researched your limitations and made an event that requires MENSA-levels of intellect and MacGyver levels of ingenuity just to stick it to you?

Just as an example, I'm deeply phobic of being out at a sea. Especially of going underwater. I was sweating and nervous and on the verge of freaking out for the entire section that we needed to be underwater in the Ruby Sea. I had to take breaks getting to the Shisui dungeon because it was basically my worst nightmare as far as horrible ocean-related activities go. And then things were fine and peachy-keen until the Lochs... my god I am never EVER going to go swimming in that dark cave EVER AGAIN. You can't pay me to do it. But I'm not going to tell SE to remove it or lambaste them for neglecting to think of people like me. I just work around it, like so many others do for the things that inconvenience them. Get over yourself.

Ok ok ok here's the thing I have dyslexia and I did just fine with this. Please Please don't get your panties in a twist over a game, there are so many great people out there that will and do help others with things when they get stuck. But this is not discrimination dude, its a word puzzle that i for one have had to do since school, so unless you're planning on going on a raid against the education system please just enjoy the game. From you post it sounds like you don't even suffer with the disorder! Please stop being mad for us! I also don't appreciate you saying we can't do something because of the way our minds work. Man that's worse than SE putting a word puzzle in the game. Stop trying to be a social justice warrior and just play the game.

THIS RIGHT HERE!! I have an intense fear of sharks and open ocean too, the first time I swam headfirst into one I screamed and jumped away from my desk. I couldn't come back to it for hours. But once I got used to the fact they are there and i learned their circuit I was able to enjoy(sorta) the heart pounding part of the game.

Actually, no it isn't. It simply isn't practical nor cost efficient if say, you run an office business where you'll have maybe one wheelchair bound person visit over the course of a year. In fact, unless the building is intended for public use (say, Supermarkets), most do not have ramps. The world cannot bend over backwards for every single person with unfortunate circumstances. You are essentially demanding the developers spend extra time for what likely amounts to less than 1% of their playerbase. What about people who are blind; have learning disabilities; some form of trauma; broken limbs and etc? Do the devs now have to quadruple their efforts because someone, somewhere might have difficulties whereas the vast majority won't?

Someone a while back posted a video of how a man with TAR syndrome taught himself how to use a keyboard with his feet. He didn't complain nor did he feel any sense of victimhood. He accepted his circumstances and overcame them. Instead of whining over how disgusted you are and attacking even the slightest disagreement, you should try that.

I've been 100% color blind and I have a real hard time in the game. The adjustments they made for "colorblind" people doesn't work at all for me, because it focuses on people that have let's say a problem with reds/greens/oranges etc.

It doesn't do anything for people that see the whole world in black and white. But you don't see me run through the game/forum and actual in real life, demanding special rights, screaming the word discrimination 50 times a day etc.

I make the best out of that, I learned how to "see" the different shades of specific colors based on shading in a grey/white/black color wheel and what not. Not even going into the whole detail here, and while it wasn't easy, I don't attack or blame others for my situation.

Nor am I going and tell SE how disgusted I am with their game because most of it I can't see lol. Find a way around it as bad as your problem might be, and stop constantly trying to get some special rights.

That is what's disgusting, because people with all kind of disabilities at any time of the day are trying to make the best out of their situation and trying to live a "normal" life, a lot are very successful with that.

Something they can be proud off, you on the other hand sitting here and constantly wanting people to adjust to you (not the first thread/comment btw that pop'd up were you tried that already), that's just being extremely lazy and ridiculous. That's something we shouldn't be supporting.

Arguing whether this is bad or not for dyslexia is medical opinion. Not everyone relax with puzzles, even non-dyslexia can have stress. I think they did good with making it simple.
Since this is supposed to be a suggestion for change. What would you have numbers replaced with? Something that supposed to show things in order.
