72 hours for Ixion FATE too long?

I thought the XIV dev team was smart enough to leave these outdated ideas behind in SE's outdated MMO FFXI. Certainly wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.

He spawned in all 3 instances at 3pm yesterday. Seems working fine to me

Absolutely nothing wrong with the length of spawn times. The game isn't supposed to make everything easy to get.

I've been playing for like 2 years and I just got my Behemoth achievement 2 months ago. I was around when he spawned once before that but got taken out by Meteor. Made the achievement that much more exciting. Could I have done it a lot sooner by joining a linkshell? Absolutely. But it's just an extra, not essential to progression, so I just let it happen by chance. Ixion spawn time is fine.

Don't think on my server heard of it spawning for 3 days now. Make that over 4 days now not seeing it spawn must spawn when no ones on. Be nice if it forced spawned every 36 hours and not spawn for 3 days. Also be nice since there's 3 instance's that they have one spawn in the morning another afternoon and last evening. If spawns very early in morning there's hardly anyone on. Having a hunt ls doesn't help if there all logged out and asleep.

It is a lvl 70 Fate in The Lochs.

Seems normal enough for me, I mean it IS a special fate and this is ff online.
Nowadays players have the patience of chimps I swear.
But then again I come from ffxi were HNM were camped for days.
And the the big shots were a lottery spawn from 3-7 days lol

72hrs is not even long

The issue is not spawn time.
Its where/what are you doing when it spawned.
Doing dungeon ? Work ? Sleep ? You're out.
Gonna need luck and be at the right place at the right time to get this mount.

Definitely need luck. I was about to queue up for a Mentor roulette when I saw the call that he was up in Instance 1 on Cactuar tonight. Lucky for me, when I teleported there my luck was used up and I got directly into instance 1, and found a party in PF...no more luck for me for a few weeks/month(though I still need 5 horns to get him for myself).

Yep. Definitely true.
Ixion would spawn when I'm either asleep or working. X[ Stupid horse!
