first custom build computer! need help...

And if you tried pwr supply they give it easier. Just connect the old pwr from outside
box to feed for example disks and the numerous huge box propellers you probably have.
And the new one like it is (if correctly connected). And take the electricity to both
from same wall so that zero levels stay same. Sorry my English again. This is easy
to check.

Ps I would buy anyway stronger psu if I would be you. Modern pc's give power to various things like
many usb - some even cook coffee with usb connection. I am 750W man nowadays and need not
think if display gets pale when I connect something to the back of my rig.

No single-gpu system in this world needs more than 500W <.<

I hope you TypeZ tell when you get the work ready what was the fault. There are always people in internet who run to similar problems and it would help them.

y0 TypeZ don't know if you're still working on this but some troubleshooting;

put in the case: psu, mobo, cpu, 1stick of ram, video card only
plug in the speaker that comes with your mobo - some mobos have onboard speakers if yours has it ignore this step

you want to hear a single beep
plug in your monitor, most monitors have multiple inputs - cycle through the inputs waiting at least 5 seconds on each input. If you still do not have a picture test another monitor.

if you do not hear a single beep
reseat the cpu, ram, gfx card, atx power and cpu aux power (intel)

let me know if you're still having issues

Yep already try that. Am going to try a cheap ddr3 ram stick and see if that will work.

you have a cpu in your moboard right?

if you have access to another cpu test it to make sure the cpu aint bad. if its used it may have a damaged pin or something. But the beep in the beginning should let you know if you cpus booting. so if that's the case seems to be a GPU prob. Some gpu need 2 power cords and some power supply's need adapters.

if you are getting an error message then its not the gpu its prob the hard drive. nothing but black with a beep would most likely be gpu.

already tried different graphic card. i mean, I've even try the boot up test and nothing at all. no pic no sound. motherboard lights comes on and cpu fan spin. but no pic on monitor.
