Today while dungeon spamming I listened to all the donkey kong country snes soundtracks.

Trance :) Beyond that..Type O Negative, Nine Inch Nails, Blutengel, Rammstein...etc

For me, it's symphonic metal like Nightwish, Delain, Within Temptation, and Evanescence. Also throw in some HammerFall and Disturbed when things get heated.

Accept's song Metal Heart incorporates Beethoven's Fur Elise and Tchaikovsky's Slavic March into riffs and melodies of the song. Try that one.

If not that, then it could be anything from movie or musical soundtracks (some favorites include my Disney playlist, Interstellar, Aida, The Road to El Dorado, LotR) to various rock genres (Heart, FoB, 3EB, Simon & Garfunkle, Decemberists, Queen, to name a few) to misc genres (Vienna Teng, The Lumineers, Loreena McKennit, Emily Smith, Jenny Dalton, to name a few) to a wide range of chamber and orchestral stuff (Tchaikovsky - prefer his symphonies, Dvorak, Vivaldi's oboe concerti, spanish vocal concerti, and more modern chamber groups like the Piano Guys). xD It honestly just depends on what I feel like on any given day.
