Hunts. the tiger and the out of hand early pulling.

It's frustratingly easy for a small group of players to completely monopolize the ARR/HW A/S ranks now due to how quickly they die.

It's gotten to the point where I can't find any hunts unless I stay up until the wee hours of the morning when said players are gone.

No such thing as early pulling. If there is a group that can kill it, then they have every right to. SE designed hunts to be killed on sight with enough ppl, not wait around for the entire server. If people choose to do that, that is their choice.

Up till now goblin has had a very established hunt scene that is friendly, and welcoming. They call outs give people time to form groups and kill things. If a person can't find a group, that person pulls the mob so they get credit.

Only recently due to goblins surge of transfers, that this might change. There is a large, and fairly rude Hunt LS being formed by a guy just mass inviting people. No questions, just mass invite. When you try to offer tips, or ask question on not doing that a few ppl would gang up on you rudely.

anyway, the tiger mount is going to take a long while to get, and only ppl who do have it have been farming for years.

Don't worry guys I'm sure Square Enix will eventually release a White Tiger mount in the mogstation.

This seems like a pretty obvious exaggeration. They live longer than 10 seconds on Balmung and there's definitely more than 2-3 people attacking them then.

I think this is not about "hunting hidden rules" and why people pulls early, but about an achievement that doesn't help the hunting community and encourages people to pull fast to ensure a +1 on it.

You just need credit for the tiger mount, not necessarily full credit.

I just want to make clear that this is not a "the achievement tiger mount is hard" thread, but about the really cancerous and bad attitude i have witnessed lately from the players towards hunt and the monopolization of hunt targets. Take for example the thing that made me do this thread, i found an S rank in the shroud and of course i announced it, less than 2 mins since i have said anything and with only about 6 people on the spot some rando just comes in and pulls it and of course everyone wants credit so they just go at it with their whole might and the thing died in about 20 secs with a lot of players on the way, you can imagine how pissed people where on shout chat, the thing is i couldn't care less about the tiger all i want is allied seals to increase my mount speed because 1 week before SB i bought 500 tickets because i heard it was 999 gil from Eorzea to Othard and had like nothing left, how can i get allied seals if i can't get hunts unless i go and look for them myself. (didn't even get full credit for the S rank #donthealhunts)

Hmm... how feasible would it be to scale the difficulty of Hunt marks with the number of people that killed it last, similar to how FATEs work?
At the very least, they would last longer. And it would beef up the older ones so they don't die in a literal heartbeat.

Can people stop think early pulls are a thing? If a group of 16 people found a rank together, they can pull it even without letting anyone know. The hunts was designed = first come first served.
