FFXIV Server Suspension Day 2: The Return of Day 1

I never thought I'd miss this game so much >.<

I'll probably just play Eternal Sonata in the PS3.. or LoL here in the PC ;P

I am quite sure I haven't heard the whole story on our news either. I think Japanese government dislikes Russia, and that is the reason why they refuse to accept our specialists. Maybe they just think that US help is enough. But I think it's just their pride and arrogance. They don't have any territory disputes with USA, so US help seems to be OK to them.
As far as I know Japan even refuses to sign permanent peace treaty with Russia. Formally, we only have a truce with them. That's ridiculous, really, especially considering that the whole half a century passed since the last war. They shouldn't consider us an enemy after that long time. But maybe all of this is just a patriotic propaganda of our armed forces. I can't know for sure. I have never lived in Japan, and therefore unable to compare their version with ours to figure out the truth. What I know for sure is to never fully trust the official version of any government, be it our own or foreign.

Yeah Alexios unfortunately I don't know much about Russia's help. Japan didn't even comment on them in the NHK... though I personally believe that if anyone or country is willing to help out then it should be given. It shouldn't be a matter of Pride for anyone especially when lives are at stake.

I worked with my college to set-up a donation jar to donate 100% to Red Cross for Japan. Still wishing them best of luck!

Sucks what happened in Japan. On the upside they should use this down time to get SE in NA, and the UK, to do as many changes to the game as they can. So when its back up its better then it was. Or keep it down for longer, then get it fixed good enough for a PS3 release date.

can the troll OP get ban for pete sake....

SE is prob closed so no patch do get past the game a bit. If SE does do a patch id be upset they should spent that time helping out.

Well i don't expect them to have ever this problem or even think of it happening. With all respect to them, i think now they will have back-up plans for about every situation possible. They're are probably making plans as we speak for when they can get things moving again. Take as long as you need SE, We understand.

I'm just saying Make the best out of a bad situation. the server are already down. So get the Different divisions of SE not in japan, to do what they can. And i Agree with Peppermint. Take as long as you need.

Playing RE5 Gold Edition Mercenaries mod all day... Again... So boring(
