Criticism on Stormblood's Monk

Brotherhood buff everyone... you only get chakra from physical dps... guys... pleaaaaaaase test it at 70 on last instances

And in the short window of 20 sec (riddle of fire) I managed to use it three time on some fights, sometime once only, and often twice. The ridiculous amount of Crit, direct hit and direct Crit we deal is... just test it. I see some posts and people clearly didn't try it. Remind me of myself. Before sb launch :/

the trouble are not the number, but the mechanic behind it, be good every 90-120 second is not fun, it's dumb... most of the jobs did get active capacity or evolution of them tool, not the monk actually we even did loose tool that was used and keep tool that need to be taken out...

it's not about being good or not, sure it's rng dependent, but once you're 70 with the new gears, the amount of crit is huge, and the way chakra fills up follows up

the problem whit the chakra generation mechanics is what they are RNG dependent, i still have to see what me chakra generation goes fast, most of the time i had generated enought chakra to do 1 tfc on boss batles, and usualy i do not get more than that, and i crit a lot, besides, direct hit do not generates chakra, is only from critical hits(and well, direct criticals since they are technically a critical hit), i never seen a direct hit give me a chakra stack

my best shot was 5 (thanks to brotherhood) in a boss fight, but without it, the system is indeed a pain (me failing at 1% on susano'o ex dummy... xD) but yeah at 70 with how huge the substats number scales.. (258crit max for a part of your weapon and 240 for armor) not saying they're perfecxt, but they're not as bad as people are saying it is, what's on paper and what's the field is not the same at all.

if everything would go as perfectly calulated as it is on theory, "always have a plan B" wouldn't be a thing.

Thanks for confirming what I already knew what was gonna happen before i got my monk to 70. These people are not even 70 and already giving death sentences based on 0 field knowledge and without a proper set of gear. Bunch of whiners. Most of the time, the problem is between the chair and the keyboard, the classes are fine.

Tackle Mastery is the thing that needs reworking the most. Everything else is "fine" to the point where a few number tweaks is all that's needed, but the tackles need different, better effects (DoTs, chakra, big potency, whatever. Something useful and gives us options). Also Fists of Wind. Please give this some better use. More crit/skill speed perhaps. Something. Hahah.

I've been a Monk main since the days of beta but I'm finally considering switching to another class with these Stormblood changes. To me, Riddle of Fire feels absolutely horrible to use and more like a debuff than a buff.

How does MNK play at 70? I left it when SB hit cause i was so disappointed in not much changed and picked up RDM
