Brannigan i was talking about the SH sets... not all of them. Because the only meldable is the Sentinel which is stupid. Or you put all at equal level of being U/U or all like Sentinel is (Non-Unique and meldable).

/bump too. Still waiting on this to be addressed or at least hear what they were thinking when implementing this.
Agree this is pretty stupid, nothing SE do surprises me though, its unlikely they will address it either.
To be honest I wouldn't even wear the sorcery set because of how hideous it is but still, all of the stronghold sets need to be meldable.
sh sets should be meldable
I agree too that all the stronghold sets should be meldable
I also think DH gear should be meldable
But i'm leaning towards it be untrade-able, I believe the devs are working on melding via bazaar?
Its pretty clear what the endgame weapons are right now, but for armor it's kinda all over the place.
I don't believe crafters should be making the endgame armor (unless the craft is one part of the final armor, i.e. ffxi cursed gear, wow's patterns)
started good but then just vitriol, what's the point of that post?
i think the devs might have the impression that crafters will be upset if its meldable cause then no one will buy crafted, which is the opposite. the only thing to do while grinding for SH gear is make materia, materia made from the stuff people buy at the wards.
I agree, personally, I believe once materia was released, that no piece of gear from that time forth should be non-meldable. I must say though, I am under the impression the dev and community relations team is off from like the Dec 23 - Jan 1, or something along those lines.
Its not so much a matter of them paying no attention to this thread, but if you look, the last post they made at all was the 23rd. Other then the 1.20a patch notes that is.
I could be wrong about the time off and the dates, but thats just the infoormation I gathered.
exactly, our LS does Sh events and for about 18-23 hours worth i think we got 7 drops, so its not like everyone will be loaded up with it, at lest not for a long time. average drop rate on a good day is about 2 hours, but we had 2 runs for
si. gloves that were 3 hours each and no drop which lowered our average allot.
