I actually love the Moogle model in this game, in fact I own this Kuplu Kopo doll that was shown in a post in the first page:

moogle v. cthulhu
who will win?
I hope you're not serious, it's called an opinion. I happen to like the FFTA humanoid yet still cute moogles. They're not as bad as the FFXII ones, though I think they're supposed to be the same. The art style in FFTA made them a lot better though. I see nothing wrong with moogles that actually do things and integrate themselves with the society present in the game. So far in FFXIV they appear very rarely. Hell if you don't start in Gridania you'd never know Moogles are even in the game until now with the moogle battle.

Those are deformed rabbits, not moogles XD
These are moogles:

Due to the overall rarity of moogles (i'm gridanian so i understand they aren't rare in Gridania but others do not see them as much), I believe they are fuzzy, pure, cutesy, in this game to specifically contrast the gritty melodramatic nature of the war or at least pre war tension. When you think about it, there you are in the middle of the forest about to get attacked by a savage beast, and bam cute little moogle purity flies out and saves you. Its contrast. If everything was the same the game would get too boring fast.
The moogles in XII were a Namingway or _____ingway flashback from FFIV where they were just rabbits. While still technically moogles, they are more so a rabbit-way than a moogle.
I like the traditional moogles, and that's what the FFXIV moogles look like, so..I want them to stay the same:eek:
Ivalice bunnies are cute, but not fitting.
