Even XI's high-end weapons had very distinctive models. You weren't going to confuse Bravura or Conqueror with a level twenty-something axe while out of combat.

That's not fully true. Once i275 and with the right substats it's BiS by far, doesn't change that the weapon should look at least decent for the amount of hours put into it.

I like the drk one personally, brd (my main and currently one im working on) and pld ones are the coolest imo. WAR...well f**k... /petswars. I don't know how it went from the previous step to that but....just no....nope..... War is my second relic but ill prolly stop at this step lol and i do want the pld one >.>

I actually quite like the WAR Anima--it's a simple design with a simple effect, which suits me fine. The previous three forms were all kinda bad, in my opinion. Parashu was just a chained up hunk of metal on a pole, Ukonvasara was badly proportioned and just looked odd, and the Axe of the Blood Emperor (while better) was ultimately an above-average spiky high-fantasy axe. And I don't quite get the love for the new BRD form, but then again I think the Yoichi Bow is still one of the better looking bows.

More power to you if you enjoy the previous forms, but they're just not my thing.

Holy hell, Bard and Paladin are amazing. I'm okay with the Drk sword, and I like the glow on the War weapon, but a more stylized double-sided axe would have been better than the Labrys.....

I dislike Bard, it's the only class I don't play but I have to admit they really pulled it off with their anima. It's gorgeous.

Well, plenty of players like a simpler look, but it does seem rather out of place for relic.

Nin's weapon is the worst...it basically a lv15 Bronze Spatha with glowy effect. Not only appearance is bad, the name...is also weird, Sandungs...I don't like the sound of that dungs.

I don't really understand on how bad the appearance on some of the weapons are compared to other jobs. I mean c'mon, this is the weapon that we have been working since the beginning, give us a better model than lv15 weapon please?

People really think the bard one looks good? Lol

I know it's an opinion but damn do you guys have gaudy tastes.
