They really need a PTR for FFXIV. Devs play test their game properly, players go and look for the easiest route. Hopefully they will announce PTR servers soon after this.

I kinda feel bad for them. All you folks do is complain and cry every 5 seconds.
IT'S TOO HARD! - Okay we'll nerf it for you guys!
IT'S TOO EASY! - Okay we'll buff it!

Well, fxck what do you expect at this point?
I mean they listen to people and then there is always one side of the spectrum
that's not happy. Never is. I'm no raider but I'm just glad people are getting back to raiding and enjoying the game
instead of being nasty and pissed off on overtuned crap only 5% of the players could do.
While I generally agree with your sentiment, this entirely hinges on the devs actually reading the feedback and taking it into account (unlike other companies *coughBlizzardcough*, who may use betas and the PTR as free advertising and thus ignore feedback on PTR and betas).
You are simplifying the issue way too much.
Enemy has a DPS check of party at 5k DPS. Parties in average are doing 4k DPS, then content is too hard.
Enemy has a DPS check of party at 5k DPS. Parties in average are doing 7k DPS, then content is too easy.
And then you have variables like healing checks, mechanics, dancing arround, phases, etc...
Gordias was an example of the first, Creator is an example of the second, Midas problem was the excesive ammount of "dancing". When players said it was too hard, gordias, they wanted a lower DPS check basically, if parties best averages were 4k, then that should had been the correction. For midas, they changed the higher DPS checks with dancing arround and generated another problem.
Now they nerfed WAY TOO MUCH both and insted of a correction, they basically ruined the content by going all the way to the other extreme (that is the problem, extremes). This is why we need player testing servers for content, for better balance and correction, SE doesn't know how to do that job clearly (just look at how they handle classes for example)
It still might mean we get content that has a better difficulty curve then what we have now. It might also stop the need to do emergency maintenance so soon after patches. The devs never look to break or exploit their game, it could bring hope to know there is at least something the players can do to make FFXIV good.
I think this one is the perfect one in the entire raid series. I don't think is easeri then others. Just the same, at least in normal.
