This is about seeing all three action bars on the screen at once. As it stands now, even if you have it visible at all times, you still have to scroll between them. I don't call out trolls very often, but you just can't be this completely oblivious to the conversation.

It's lovely that you call someone a troll when you don't even have a character over level 25 character...and your statements become invalid when you don't frankly know how to even play the game.

I really support this idea. As well as to make it so its an option you can turn on or off to please everyone playstyle.

Options are good. I personally play with a controller, so I'm still having to scroll between abilities regardless of how many bars I can see. A keyboard user would probably have to press other buttons (like you do for macros) to get use out of this idea, or scroll up/down to chose which skill bar/row to use before hitting the key. It only really solves things for a mouse user.

But if that's how you play and it makes your life easier, then there's really not a problem. It's already been stated that they want to improve gameplay for all types of users, be they controller or keyboard with or without mouse. As long as said option is an option, and not enforced as the standard from which all others are options, it's all good regardless of whether or not that play style is optimal.

There is a target function in the keyboard config which target only monsters no matter what the current target filter is.
Cycle through enemies: T
Cycle through enemies (reverse): Shift + T

Or change the key setting for toggle target filter to
Toggle target filter: Shift + ↓
Toggle target filter (reverse): Shift + ↑

For controller users I'd prefer a LOT less clutter and menu fly-outs designed around the use of d-pad. You keyboarders have no idea how often I accidentally switch skill-bars and the whole fight turns into this big menu hassle mess.

Also I can see that this system will in the future be very limiting to those who have acquired a large set of skills and are restricted to only 3 bars in active use.

I'd be completely fine with a complete copy of FF I-XI style system that keeps all the unnecessary stuff hidden + this game's slow battle gives you more menu hassle time anyway than XI ever did.

Thanks for the info Skadi I will have to give this a try and see if this helps. Here is a question for you though does it work like /tmode b (enemy) setting? Without having to set tmode?
