Cost is what's keeping me from upgrading my 6 year old PC. I just don't have the $200-300 to upgrade the CPU & mobo. I mean, I could. It'll just take me a couple of years...

im pretty sure I read somewhere that Heavensward would be the last expansion supported by the ps3. I think from here fourth its all ps4 and PC. Also PS4 is getting an upgrade soonish so im sure they know about this.

A near pointless upgrade honestly, it's rumored to be 400 for the new PS4 and honestly speaking, there isn't anything really big or exciting coming out. Buying a new PS4 just for 4K res, to me, is a bad investment especially given all current games played on it will be upscaled and not actually in 4K. SE isn't about to make a 4K copy of 14, they can hardly sustain the current game as is.
