You only need 1 promotion code. It unlocks 6 codes. You can give your wife the code to the maid attire.

I purchased a game I was planning to buy anyway and received the codes for all the items.

HOWEVER.. the Butler outfit (I assume the maid outfit as well, but didn't check) does not go into armoire.. which is a huge problem. I don't have 6 spare slots that I can keep tied up with a Butler outfit forever.
