Region Locking servers to stop RMT?

What would even happen to my character? Would I get a free world transfer?
Also I don't really want to play with other Americans; I like being on the EU servers.

No thanks.

Most Chinese players hide their IP with VPNs which means none of this would even matter.

Well played. Still, there has to be be some solution to this problem. Closing our eyes or going to JP servers isn't going to make it go away.

Well I mean on my server I barely get any RMT.
Heck I think my alt on Balmung has legit never gotten a single tell, ever.
