PS4 Error CE-30022-7

reinstalling solve my problem. gawd this is awful painstaking error...

Since this seems like an extremely general error, and after research online, I dont think this will be solved by square enix, nor by sony (which seems to be its error)..

I decided to save my FFXIV game data on an external usb drive (which you can do in the settings menu) and I deleted the game. I am currently - it and I hope it works WITH my hotbars and gears sets once its done loading and I reloaded my game settings.

It seems like the only fix. I waited till after the maintenance to see if it would fix it, but even updates are not helping...

my gear and hotbars are fine and i didnt use a usb, so they should be ok. But the maintenance would do nothing for the clients since its on their servers not our consoles

BUT in saying that, about 5 mins ago when i tried to boot up FFXIV i got an update for the launcher so it might have fixed itself?

I had the same thing happen too me soo I had too reinstall the whole game it work after but it is a pain too download everything from the start toke me about 6 hours :(

I also encountered the same error and now have to re-download the game in order to play on my PS4. SE, you NEED to work with Sony on pushing out a fix for this ASAP. This is literally a game breaking problem, since it makes it so the game can't even be played.

I did the one time free upgrade from the PS3 to PS4. So deleting and reinstalling the game would mean I'd have to rebuy the game for the PS4....I really don't wanna have to do that.

if you go into the ps store, does FFXIV come up with "buy now $XX.XX" or "download"? because if its download you wont have a problem since youve got the license otherwise might want to call sony or S-E


make sure to check that on FFXIV and not heavensward since heavensward is both classed as an add on and separate game (learned the hard way buying it twice) in the store

It comes out as only option to buy, not download.

I've checked both standard, collectors, bundles and newest release with heavensward expanson. All of them come as option to buy only, not download.

When I bought the PS3 version, I bought the physical collectors eddition, not digital. So I have the PS3 versions copy, but I doubt it'll work if I pop that in the PS4 as theres no BC, at least not when it comes to physical copies.

So I'm literally stuck waiting for SE to fix this error that has come along with the 3.2 patch.

It really sucks.

Is this issue (the error) really not that wide spread because it's not even listed under the "Known Issues" that usually comes following a patch.

damn that really, really sucks then :(

i think its a weird issue though because its an issue with the launcher itself rather than anything in-game related like a bug or gameplay flaw/abuse, etc....
it really sucks because if they differentiated the game from the launcher in terms of how its saved to the system issues like this wouldnt be as bad since you could just delete/redownload the launcher instead of the whole game
