If you want the population of the game to fall from the drinking sure.

Pretty sure it's normally this time frame for the bigger patches. I know it's not the first time I've had to find something else to do for one night. Don't worry, you really won't shrivel up and die for one night without FFXIV.

This works out perfectly for me since I can just do my homework, sleep, then wake up at 2AM for the patch!

Nope, this isn't a legitimate reason for them to give refunds or any compensation for any downtime. Part of that subscription fee is for maintenance like this one tomorrow night.

They were being sarcastic, since nearly every maint, someone is on the forums asking for a refund for time lost cuz its the only time they can play that month or w/e.
