Yeah, when I think of wind, I don't think of spears, I think of arrows/bullets. Arrows have feathers. Bards have a jump shot, and a wind based shot. Not to mention Garuda is a ranged attacker, not melee. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

NIN as Leviathan doesn't make sense to me either. IMO, DRG should have been Levi, as you know the whole serpent/dragon thing.

Not to mention, while Shiva makes total sense for BLM (hello, they have 5 ice spells), it makes 0 sense for SMN.

They probably avoided Levi since thematically the gear would probably be too similar to what they already have. And Garuda the primal uses mainly melee, only the Egi is ranged.

As for Shiva and casters, that\\'s just how dual role classes are. I suppose you could argue Ramuh perhaps. But you\\'ll never find a primal that perfectly fits everything.

Take your Garuda for BRD example. That would also have to go on Machinist. Machinist has no reference to Wind. If anything they\\'re akin to Alexander but obviously that won\\'t work since there\\'s already Alex gear

Possible reason behind the choices could be due to the Class/Job's starting City State and the associated Primal. Therefore Ifrit for MNK (Ul'dah), Levi for NIN (Limsa), and Garuda for DRG (Gridania). It also reinforces the existing separation between the melee roles by giving them a Primal from a different City State to each other.

With that in mind, they may assign Ramuh and Mog to the remaining Gridania Jobs (WHM/BRD). Tanks will most likely get Titan as that thematically suits them more than any other role, which in turn left Shiva as the only one left for BLM.

Other than the possible silliness involved, I doubt we'll get a moogle-primal themed armor, simply for the same reason why Odin, Bahamut and Alexander are unlikely:

Looks like healers are getting the Shiva set too. At about 5:20, it looks like the AST is wearing Shiva gear.

Someone posted these images on Reddit. You can see the BLM wearing a set that is almost like dark Shiva gear. So, the artistic image they posted yesterday was in fact a WHM!!!

That Astrologian armor doesn't look very Shiva-y. But eh, whatever is fine. I main Casters too, so no big deal.

Though, since Shiva and Garuda are both taken, either that armor is another version of Shiva or we get Ramuh.
