Unless you only joined the game within the past few months or the past year (or take a ton of breaks), there's no reason why you wouldn't have 300 commendations by now.

Excited to try it out at least, who knows how it will turn out but I like teaching new people
Why all of the trinity to 60 and not 2? Not everyone enjoys all of the aspects of the trinity. I know tanks who don't have DPS leveled or don't care to, same for healers and DPS... and these are people that have played for years, are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly.
I don't mind the duty or the comm requirements but the Job aspect makes no sense to me as it limits who can help new players in the mentor system. Just because I get tank to 60 doesn't mean I can offer a lick of advice to new tanks when I dislike playing the class nor do I care to retain information about it... Same could be said for all roles.
I wonder about this too.. I do not plan on leveling a tank. and the only reason why I leveled my summoner was because it was easy to do as I was leveling my Scholar. All of my classes are healers basically. I would love to be able to teach newly healers what I know ;]
"The mentor system is a system which will allow players to assist beginners. In order to become a mentor, players must earn specific achievements and talk to a specific NPC."
I would love to help as a mentor, but I RP my characters and have a tank char, a healer/caster char and a melee dps char. So I hope the mentor system will be player (account) based rather than character based?
I'm kinda confusedSo for people who don't have the 300 commendation, 1000 dungeon/trials done + 1 lv 60 in a Tank, dps, and healer then all one needs is to be after?Quote:
Instead of the above requirements, players can also become mentors by completing the following:
Have at least one class from both Disciples of Hand and Land at level 60.
Have crafted over 100 collectables.
Have gathered over 300 collectables.
Not sure how an expert crafter is going to help ...
