Let me hit the button on the Random Dev Team Phrase Generator. *BOOP* And we have..."Please look forward to it!"

Which is probably why a lot of dev responses to threads are stuff that they either toss to the dev team for consideration or things that the team can easily implement within a given timeframe. Things like "we'll look into it" or "oh hey that sounds cool" tend to be taken out of context.
There's other things SE dropped and or lied about like the Vita being able to be a side map for your ps4 game. Sadly I cant find a picture anymore :(

This sound like a read/memory error

A: For MMOs, it becomes difficult if all of the information is not centralized on one screen. As I don’t see much benefit to this, there are currently no plans to implement it. While this doesn’t mean that we will never support this feature, we don’t want to see usability differ too much by platform, either.Quote:
Q: Will we able to utilize the second screen feature with the PlayStation Vita?
f; How will the primal battles such as Ifrit, Moogle, and Garuda be in ARR?
y; Say for Titan, Titan is new, like there are many things, like the ground breaking through, flying, dropping. There are lots using ground gimmicks.
y; And as the contents gets updated, less people will play, so at that time we’ll have Ifrit show up in public field, and like the benchmark it becomes a F.A.T.E. and from there people can use it as great summon (dai-shoukan)
Yoshi said that. So you are wrong. But they found a way to force you into running crap you have been running for two years so why do anything neat when you will just run the same thing every day anyway.
If you're going to quote something, don't selectively do so to try and prove a point.
"# Q27: How will the primal fights change in ARR?
# A27: They will be basically be the same as the fights in version 1.0. However, we will be making some minor tweaks based on the new battle system and the primals will have a larger role in the main scenario.
f; How will the primal battles such as Ifrit, Moogle, and Garuda be in ARR?
y; umm, basics for those that played previous FFXIV, just imagine the primal battles from then
y; however, this time it involves with the main scenario so the standing position and cut scene is different
y; also the skills they use is matched to the ARR’s battle so it’s different

It's clearly stated that primal fights in ARR would be relatively the same as their previous incarntations, but with some tweaks so that they would be properly integrated into the story and combat system. The end of his answer is simply a statement of the direction he intended to move with some primals once the player-base began to thin. I still see no broken promises or lies as some seem to be claiming. This response was given years ago and direction can change. Nothing here is "false advertising".
There is a char limit I was trying to stay within, there was no selective editing needed.
Except the part where he says he's going to do something different with future updates when content is updated.
That's not what it is, that is what you decided to interpret from a translated interview. It's not when the player base gets thin its when less people are playing it because its old content.
He can change the direction of the game, and thats his right. However people invest a lot of time into this game and when you say you are going to do something you should just do it. It may not be "false advertising, broken promises, or a lie, but what he did he actually did was most certainly lazy and unimaginative.
Its neither a read or memory error. There was literally a picture SE posted to commercialize the vita using a second screen feature but they used it as a selling point apparently since they didn't plan on putting it in anytime soon anyway. Thanks for posting the link though.
