FF6, FF7 (if your looking at shinra as the big bad 'empire') ff8 mixed the high tech in a medieval style, FF10 showed the big bad beville was FAR more technologically advanced, and ff12 with the empire having far more technology.

a bit more then half i just remembered ff2's empire being the only nation to have airships, while the players had to use a wyvern to get to it, and ff4 also had a FAR more technological bad guys (if you count after years) so yea,
thats why i find it rather funny, plus we don't know much about garlamald we don't know if they have pedestrian magitek or if they are military only, and even then if nero can turn a ADS node into his own personal flying machine then the idea of wheels in a empire filled with flying machines jets rockets ect, it shouldn't be that far fetched,
Ahem. I would like to state that, for the record, I am against adding frivulous amounts of items to the Cash Shop.
With that in mind, if this were to be added to the game as a Cash Shop-only item, I would purchase it. That is how desperate I am for this. I would not agree with the method in which it became available, but I would acquire it all the same.
That is all.
let it cost 2 mil mgp
huehue
or make it an achievment reward for people who own fenrir + cloud card :D
For those suggesting this is Garlemald technology lore-wise, I still have a couple complaints.
1. Gaia-tech in FFVII like Fenrir is from an electric/gasoline powered society. Garlemald (from what I can tell of the magitek mounts and the ironwork's output) is steampunk. The primary power source is entirely different, and the engineering is entirely different as a result. The design of a gasoline-based bike would be out of place.
2. Anything is Gaia that was electricity based drained the lifeforce of the planet from a lore perspective. This was actually the primary plot device for Final Fantasy VII's compliation. Why does Garlemald want to destroy/subjugate Eorzea? Because our primals drain the planet's lifeforce. Something tells me they're not into using anything with an electric power source. Therefore, see point one.
ETA: Still see a place for a vintage looking steam-punk ironworks bike, if the demand is there.
lore shmore none of this game is real for fook sakes people, its a pretend world , with pretend characters, killing pretend mobs and yes traveling on pretend mounts, and experiencing a pretend story, lore is a weightless excuse when we allow players as snowmen and reindeer running around (oh but thats ok! lol) smh
Love the bike tbh, maybe one day something similar will be added! I for one will keep asking for it in game.
:)
I don't even care how well or badly it'd fit into the overall look of the game at this point. My FF7 fangirl screams.
GIVE. ME. THE. BIKE.
