Okay, so 'server limitations' is the reason for punishing players. Gotcha.
Doesn't seem very popular tbh for various reasons, the ridiculous lockout being one of them.
It's very discouraging and will probably fade from exsistence one month later like Chocobo racing :(
SE's potato box strikes again, I see. With as much of this game is tied to INSTANCES, you'd think they'd work on their server infrastructure enough that they don't have to put such absurd restrictions on things. It's certainly not that it's impossible. I can hang out in instances for as long as I want in other MMOs.
Understandable, and not sure if it's a definite thing but if what the player says is true, isn't 2 hours a bit over the top in harshness? Usually it's 30 mins and I guess if you go into Skynamis and dodge it can be ~2hours. But outright being 2 hours seems a bit over the top for a slap on the wrist by dodging a que....
Last I checked, she's (or it may have been another person who had the same issue) been locked out for 12 hours+. The lockout is way too long. 30 minutes sounds fair in an actual match. For a tutorial? No way. I've been reading a lot of people complaining that the tutorial is too short as it is. The controls are so complicated, the tutorial times out before they figure it out.
If it's the same as normal duties, can we get a warning about the penalty when we click Retreat in matches? I managed to get locked out for a whole day because I retreated from matches because I didn't want to waste time to lose and I'm pretty sure the Retreat button doesn't have a warning.
30 minute lock-out seems fair.
2 hours is excessive, but I could see it being the case for the first few weeks when the game is the most popular.
Locking a player out until the daily timer resets, though? That's just mean.
~Thank you very much Zhexos for that explanation on the situation with the "Lord of Verminion" Tutorial.
However, if it's merely a technical/instance issue being the reason with time limits, including the Tutorial, why not at least make it free instead of costing us MGP just to fail and not get a good learning experience of how to play the mini-game?
If it was at least free, we could do it over and over again rushing the parts that we DID read and understand and jumping to the parts we didn't get to read or didn't fully understand.~
a completely casual "at your leisure" game shouldn't have restrictions. it's dumb and takes away from the game.
pls fix your game. :(
