If you can't get on FFXIV for 45 days, try getting a friend of yours to do it for you.
Solution: Have a friend of yours log onto your account and get in the house at least once every 45 days.
A) It's just a game.
B) You're getting majority of your money and furnishing back.
C) Buying a plot, and not using it at all, is unfair to other players who has been saving their gil and waiting.
Basically so decided to take and not add. How does that make sense to u some of ppl.
This is immediately going to open up the plots next to me on either side. Both belong to FCs that are dead. One is down to one lone member that hasn't logged in since July. The other has multiple members, but the last person to log on, and thus the current FC leader, is a level 43 who hasn't been on in six months.
Simple reason to this.
Money its a good business decision to remove houses from inactive people than keep adding new wards which costs money. Sorry if your in the service and can't log in but this is only one of the steps their taking to fix housing.
As iv said good business decision.
If, after implementing this, they scare 75% of the MIA housing owners into resubbing and as a result only reclaim a fraction of the land that they'd hoped, they may yet add additional wards. But it makes much more sense to recycle first.
I managed to grab my personal house via a miracle when the last FC member transferred to another server without bothering to selling the house first or something like that; all I know is a plot opened up in Goblet and I rushed there fully expecting to see a transaction in process, but there wasn't one. I hope now that others on Lamia server who have had an active sub for over two straight years like me can have the option to buy into a FC or personal house, too.
