It's instanced, as they said it can be accessed via the Duty Finder. But they also said that imagining an area map (like Sea of Clouds) would give you an idea of how big it is. Couple that in with being able to see other parties in the same area, and being able to freely change jobs while you're there, it's not "open" but very very close.

The developers have just finally taken their vacations since the release of Heavensward. They can't just let their brains fry chained to their desks. Although this first patch is being delayed, we will be returning to the regular 3 month schedule for all subsequent patches.

They keep talking about the FATE in Hiroshima on the 25th of October.

Is this fucking patch SERIOUSLY in November? WTF are we supposed to do for 2-3 more months FFS.
