Considering taking a break until 3.1

I'm surprised that this thread has so many positive responses to the OP, it it because its not an "I'm leaving" thread?

Anyways, I'm on the same boat. I'm bored with the game and did not resub when my sub ended yesterday. I'll resub when 3.1 releases

What is the point of making 2 star crafting? Right now it makes 190s which can be hq. Once 3.1 hits, new raids, better items, crafting gets nothing.

What will be the point of crafting in 3.1?

You can say the same of AF2, unless Void Ark's ilevel is low like LotA.

The weaver one is 3 felt. Most of the fishing rod mats can be farmed by a disciple of the hand. Most of the trouser stuff comes from killing a mob.

This means my mats are more expensive or take longer to farm. On both tries i failed i got no good/exceptionnal statuses to make cp, also failed too many hasty touch. I don't want to go into the rotation here, this is about the generalities around crafting and the next patch.

My friend feels the same. he tells me crafting in HW has become a job now in its own right you need to spend entire days farming mats making stuff just to get scripts...its become craft all day or use a battle job all day, rather then the casual on the side thing everyone really liked..

Crafting has become tooooo grindy.....

That reminds me of something i meant to say. Asian grind may be to strong to illustrate what i mean. But the fact remains leveling crafting, and probably gathering after, is a job, work. It has nothing to do with fun.

I tried getting interested in other games all day with only marginal results. I don't want to quit until 3.1 but my whole game has been leveling crafting for months. I am now faced with a task i don't like. Not doing it leaves me doing nothing. I'm not very good at raiding and leveling alts can only last me so long before getting boring.

I don't know what my options are, help?

EDIT: not to mention i could lose my house.

I wish there were some activities though outside of just dungeons.

I mean hunts are okay but once you max that out and gain everything that is has to offer then what?
golden saucer same thing but even if you don't max it out, you've done it enough to get tired of it not saying its not fun, just its the same things over and over again until something new is added.

Id like to see more of those beast man relationship things added into the expansion area's or something that involves the server doing something not outside of the server with others out on the land front.

Seems most of the stuff is duty and nothing brings the server together unless its fates or S hunts.

I might spend some time doing the beast tribes, hoping this situation develops.

I've been playing through the Kingdom Hearts games recently. Just finished the first one not long ago. I have found I just log in to get my daily roulette in. Even then, I feel a sense of dread since I have done those same two dungeons so many times now. I am mostly just doing dungeons at this point to keep my skills as a tank up to par so I don't hold others back when the new content is released.
