whats your favorite healer class and why

WHM! Nothing quite like saving the day with a Benediction or a well-timed DS + Medica II.

In all honesty, I don't really like SCH. I find them kind of snooty...

SCH is and will always be my favorite. It's very versatile. I'm also liking AST...WHM was always boring to me...

I've always enjoyed playing White Mage the most. I like their tool kit, especially in Heavensward.

Their CC abilities such as Knocking a target back, and then sleeping them is amazing. It basically gets the enemy out of AoE and then CC's them. Also, Holy being able to AoE stun is like a damage mitigation move itself. Lastly, I've always loved Regen abilities a lot more than shields.

In Heavensward, having the new abilities off the GCD now for extra healing is amazing and Aero 3 is a great DPS spell to have. I love it!

WHM seems to better fit my preferred healing style but I find SCH to be super fun too. Looking forward to trying AST too eventually... whenever I finally get to Heavensward content.

Astrologian all day every day...except for the days I leveled as a whm to unlock the ast...

Can't bring myself to try out sch. The fairies are a real turn-off :/

I was white mage main for about a year when i started playing again, levelled scholar because a static i wanted to join needed one. Haven't looked back.

While i still enjoy white mage, scholar just has so much more going on IMO. Heals, shields, buffs, fairy management and dps inbetween it all. Works for me.
Recently played through a dungeon on my wifes' white mage.. was seriously bored.

Haven't tried astro out yet, meaning to get to that after i finish levelling my monk.

WHM by a mile. Aesthetically tho it's ast.

Scholar I loved for the lore. I played it for a while because I wanted to play a class that, in its own lore, had itself as a masterful strategist. In practice, scholar just feels like such a disappointment. It just doesn't live up to its own lore, which is what turned me off from playing it.

I'm still leveling Ast, but so far, it feels bounds more strategic and intelligent to play. Just my 2 gil.

i lv a WHM when i first started healing and loved it, but then i got hold of the SCH and thats it i was hooked and the fairy looks aswome :D

For heals its the SCH, nothing beats having a pet that heals with you

Lore wise, i like the AST its just cool to be a mystic-gambling astrologist
