Nerf old primal weapons recipe please.

I don't think the recipe needs to be changed but I do understand why OP suggested that. Most of us aware that right now the ex loots (feather/heart/horn/whisker) are scarce on the market board because it's a monster loot and you can't get it unsynced which almost every people in game are doing it this way and no one (not even friends or fc) willing to spend time doing this synced, even when asked because it wasn't worth the time (wiping + RNG chance for loot).

A suggestion that I could think of is to include it into the treasure chest along with the pony -or- add a small chance that you can yield the loot via desynthesis of the accessory/weapon that you can get from the ex run.

More like keep it as it is. But make new recipes for us crafters to make an upgraded version of it (ilvl195)

I get the whole "they should remain unique and special" argument, but as time goes on, getting the weapons becomes more and more absurd because less and less people will want to run them. I say either make the drops available to an undersized party, but keep the current drop rate (maybe even lower it slightly to balance out the speed at which they can clear it) or keep the drop requirements as they are now (i.e. you still need a full party of 8), but raise the drop rate.

If this was that Lightning Event people keep asking for or some item attached a physical product or something then I'm totally all for "keeping it as is," but this is content that's readily available that, in theory, fewer and fewer people will do as time goes on. It's not so much that people don't want to put in the work, but they quite literally can't so why not just try to give those who want to run it a better chance to do so?

Of course people are going to not want to go through old content sync'd again. That is what makes these items rare and them being rare is one such aspect of why people want them so bad.

If they do nerf the recipe for that item.... they should also put all of the old content's drops on the calamity salvage vendor so we can buy them for 1 gil...

I'd make /sadface if they nerfed any of that stuff. It's easy to get as it is... Just requires, you know... a few friends to go with? It's not even hard when synched.

I mean some fights are even harder when you go unsynched. For instance, King Moggle Mog.

Moggle Mog EX is also the hardest fight to convince people to do. There's no loot incentive (unless you want a pink ribbon for glamour) and the fight requires DPS to be crappy, as well as be careful.

Pre-HW, even when you could farm EX primals all day long because way more people wanted to do them, it's not like you saw everyone with the weapons. They were still insanely rare. I'd wager the vast majority of people don't even care about the darn things. Most would just rather have a relic or something.

I'm simply saying that to balance out the lack of people running it now compared to before, give those few people running that content now a better incentive to do so.

Some people still do the fights properly for the money incentive to sell the rare items.

I think this is a good thing. It's like how people do the pony runs. But this is like one that isn't stepping on helpless kittens but more like fighting a slightly angrier older cat for more loot.

There's no better incentive to do something than for something hardly anyone else has. The rarity itself makes people want to run them. If not, they weren't too dedicated to get those items, anyway. That is also why the price is so high.

If you make the item more available to get, you will destroy the rarity it brings and thus the last bit of incentive to do older content.

wrong. you cant udersize because the rare items dont DROP from undersized.
