Astrologian is in a good position right now.

I stopped coming to the healing threads because Vlady would post this crap in all 50 of the AST threads on pgs 1 and 2, and now he has his own?!
Back to the tank threads to hear more Paladins crying about their class too.

At this point I come to see what Vlady comes with next it's like a good comedy routine. *grab pop corn and enjoy Vlady's bad remarks and people getting salty*

I like to think he is just playing devil's advocate but he isn't very good at it. He's helping us build a case for ast buffs more than anything. His inane responses at least elicit more feedback for the devs to look through.

He's actually hurting the job because any developer that reads this might be wary about giving ast their necessary buffs because illusional people like him are saying the job is fine when logically it's not. If he really liked this job he would support any positive changes done to the job. I think he actually hates the job and he's trying to keep it weak so people don't play the job.

I used to main SCH pre-HW too. Yet I had less problems with AST @ the vault boss than with SCH Oo.
Could've been, because I was ...let's say slightly.... undergeared xD.
Dunno about those commendations, I often get 1-2 sometimes 3 in 4-ppl-content, might be some "Eye of the Beholder"-Issue? :P

I am not sure where these make believe complaints are coming from. I see astrologians often in DF runs I join and they perform as well as scholar and white mage on my teams. We use one on our Savage team and so far no complaints yet.

Anyway OP I feel you can't understand the problems with this class unless you heal savage A1 as an AST, and then heal it as anything else. (Or heck, just healing bismarck EX anyone should be able to see the difference.) You'd have to be blind to not see how much easier and better it is as scholar or white mage. Having a class that can't hold its own in savage is a problem.

Not to mention, the buffs are only 2% or so better than just being a scholar and having selene out...so, that's something...

I wish the Ignore List hid threads, too. :|

SE had it right when they had bought gear on the left side for the high end currency being job specific.
