Final Fantasy XI --> XIV

They killed my Aht Urghan. I miss Assaults and Nyzul and Einherjar and White Gate and the atmosphere of it all. I hate abyssea :(

I quit ffxi last summer in anticipation of ffxiv, i quit ffxi for a year and then came back in late 2009, but at that point it seemed that I was so far behind there was no way to catch up due to lack of low level exp parties. I was praying that fxiv would be a great oppurtunity to get a fresh start along with all my other xi friends, but it was a large dissapointment. The connection to XI is so weak that if felt as though it were not a Final Fantasy at all, I am all for new ideas but this game lacks the XI feel that we all loved.

Talk about dwelling on the past...you'll never have fun again if you keep comparing. -_-

Is there a site where we can see where our FFXI friends are today in FFXIV?

People have to remember they wanted to try a clean slate, something that had some familiarities but was a totally different game. Then they released it earlier than they should have and didn't have the proper team working on it from the beginning. There is plenty of stuff that can and will be added to make this game awesome. We have the ingredients for the cake ready and mixed up all that is left is for SE to cook this thing.
