to be honest thats what i thought, but just went with the flow of things as people seemed to be assuming the cities would be getting a revamp too

They have stated in the past that the instance for the GC and such is temporary, and once the map redesigns are done, such things will have an actual building.

hmmm...in that case perhaps they will just open up more of the cities. That would be nice.

need some sources, because I only really remember map redesigns and to se i think that means make them more unique, by adding 500 flags and balloons in every city and placing hubs and strongholds around the map.

A "Redesign" what we think should happen i don't think is what SE think, they want to be additive.

I dont think GC will ever come away from that area. Everything will be a teleport!

OP - i agree with you. I find it quite lazy and bland as well. I can't help but feel that when i see the warp list items increasing in the alley. I would much rather see everything has it's own place. Warp is just an uncreative and lazy way around it.

Granted, there are other more urgent issues to deal with for sure, so i would give them that excuse. I would prefer other major sores in the game to be fixed first, like battle system, job system, content etc. and most importantly world map redesign. I had also thought the redesign was only regarding regions and not cities.. i sure hope it includes cities. that would be great and will address this issue most likely.
