Some of the tracks were awesome. Yet some of the tracks reminded me of the sonic undefined mess that ffXII soundtrack was. I don't XIV to take that direction, ffXIVs ost is so defined. -

Two are not new, a bunch others were written by Nobuo, but remixed to fit the game better. It's not that Nobuo is a bad composer.. it's just when he wrote the OST he didn't have anything to go on but concept art.
I can't say that all were written by him, but most of them are. I'm really liking them anyway. -

I also love the new tracks! I know that there are a couple of Uematsu tracks in there, but I'm not sure who did the rest of them. It looks like Masayoshi Soken wrote some of the music, but I'm not completely certain. Though I'd like to know the composer for each track, they all sound great regardless. This bodes well for the future of XIV's music!
I really hope that they sell the full soundtrack when they are finished remaking the game. I know I'd buy it! -
