ITT: Everyone assumes every single DF group is bad. While A LOT of them are, people CAN clear things before a nerf or done in DF.
I did Steps pre-nerf in DF after about the 5th try.
Better than gating content behind PF which doesn't even let you do crap unless you beat it LOL.

Using it as an example of nerfs and df's.
Because if you did Steps pre-nerf, it actually required people
to assign spots. [Like people do in Alex right now.] and pay attention
to the NPC text. Was too hard because people didn't listen but I got a group
and nailed it easily. It's possible. If SE didn't carry every whiner for a nerf and actually make hard content
stick for a while it wouldn't be a problem. It just convenient to DF it. I heard the primal's aren't even that hard?

Correct me if i am wrong, but steps is is story content and coil/alexander is is not.
One is designed to be cleared with pugs and the other is not.
These are 2 completely different content parts.

Once a new raid is released, it only takes a day or two for the mechanics to be understood, publicized, etc. There is nothing that guarantees that a random PF group will be any more successful than a random DF group.

You can always use a pre-made party (through PF or otherwise). The only reason to keep it out of DF seems to be to pander to elitists.

Really, if the concern is that new raids are tough and therefore require coordination, SE should introduce a chat capability. That has orders of magnitude more value in learning and clearing new content than just filling a party through PF.

I find things not being on DF is absolutely irritating.

Like I took a break before they started putting ex primals off DF. I love DF because it's (1) fast (2) fast (3) fast (4) fast (5) as a healer who knows their shit I can carry you through the damn thing.

Put ilevel requirements, clear requirements, storyline requiements... but just put it on the damn DF.

PF on lower populated servers is a headache and a half.

Well, you're supposed to be communicating at least as much in DF as you do in a static (ideally more, since you come in with less knowledge of your teammates). We need more DF content to require good gameplay, not less.

I'd say at the very most I could understand keeping harder content out of Roulette (or separating different Roulettes by tiers of complexity). People will do Roulette hoping for the easiest quickest dungeon in the set, and get aggravated at anything harder. Too many of them take that aggravation out on their teammates by playing badly.

But a specific DF which pulls together people who have selected that particular content would get people who are ready to play that content. It'd be like PF except better at putting parties together as it can draw from the whole data center.

Is not onDF... Because every casual Will come crying to the forum about how it's impossible to clear....this will happen I guarantee it. DF will give u a new player every time and this p ONE person will wipe the raid. You will than come crying to forum asking for nerf... SE want u to overh gear first than add echo.

Every single person that says this needs to stop. Not everyone has a set schedule they can make time to meet people for a few hours in a game. For example, I do not know from week to week what nights I'll be working, nor do I know where in the state I'll be. I may have the time, but I do not have any way to schedule a set time to have a static. It's simply not possible. I am not the only one with a schedule like this.

It seriously irks me when people with statics simply say "Get one! It's easy!" No, sometimes it's not actually that easy.

Not really attacking you, just see this sentiment vomited by a lot of people with statics and it's extremely annoying.

It's not in duty as its more the lock outs.
As in someone cleared it but go in duty and now only one chest can appear.
So leaves people that haven't cleared lose out on a chest.
Only thing they can do is if you cleared it then can't go in duty.

So what exactly is stopping you from making your own PF group for it or asking some friends if they want to run it with you?

The idea that you absolutely need a static to clear hard content is patently false. I know multiple people who PUGed their way through Final Coil without a static. I cleared Final Coil without a static. If you really want to do it, you can make it happen. Saying otherwise is just making excuses.

I love the people who say that the content is too hard to be in DF.....what exactly do you think PF is? its still a bunch of random people forming a group, its absolutely no different to duty finder, except the leader can set his retarded rules and play god with everyone...there's zero reason why all new content can't be put in DF on day one...sort it out SE...i don't care if i wipe constantly, it's good to be in there experiencing it and learning the mechanics, rather than some idiot telling people to watch a video and then expect 100% perfection or kick
