A question to Square on Zephirin (SPOILERS)

Perhaps another Minstrel's Ballad is in order? After all, the ballads aren't known for being the most accurate, so the possibility for a fight that never actually happened is there...

TFW when everyone's raging about Zephirin, when they should be raging at the Wandering minstrel. I mean after all, you are "reliving" the fight of the Minstrel's song story... and he tends to exaggerate the story, yanno?

I've never wanted to kill him harder in my life. Great inspiration for DPS. That probably explains the reason why I'm always in the lead when Zephirin pops up.

Seriously. Solo trial against Zephirin. Can I have it? Can he be the training dummy in the beginner's hall?

Uuf, if that should happen, I'd probably never get it done. I have such a major crush on that dude (even bought a third retainer and made him look exactly like Zephirin). ;A; I'd just stand there like a dork and spam that screenshot button like no tomorrow. .___.;

First to say that I do like Haurchefant very much and consider the Heavens' Ward a nasty bunch but...
Zephirin didn't even mean to kill Haurchefant. He was aiming at the WoL, Haurchie just jumped in front of the spear and took the blow. Zephirin was just doing his duty protecting Thordan. For me the most worthy of contempt among the twelve sers is Charibert, the brutal, cruel sadistic bastard (it is mentioned his interrogations were nasty business) with the ugly lipstick.
While I did choose the more emotional response about wanting Zephirin's heart, I meant it rather figuratively and would be content with locking him in my basem- ahem, I mean sending him to the Ishgardian Fanatics Rehabilitation Center.
