There's nothing wrong with being able to pull that with leylines up. It's not as bad as summoner starting a fight with 3 stacks of aetherflow and aetherflow being off CD
Regardless they have to do something with blm and movement and the typical opener consist of 6 fire IV. Repeatable every 3 minutes.

It is a significant single target DPS increase. I want QoL changes but I don't want BLM to be overpowered. I understand the fear of losing stacks and this would solve it but some situations where you do not move, you'd abuse it. I don't think it will work out and I highly doubt SE will give us that for this exact reason.

The other reason is our rotation would literally be F3 > F4x5 > B3 > B4 > Filler If slow Mana tick

A monkey would be able to do that easily. The fear of losing stacks is there so it's not a brainless job. This would get pretty ridiculous with a massive amount of Spell Speed also.

Granted you'd need Leylines to pull that but it is still too strong. It would put us at Monk/Dragoon single target level, maybe more.

Again, There is nothing wrong with that. Black mage is all about putting all your eggs in the same basket. You either do 100% damage or 0%
Black mage being able to do melee tier dps when you finally have the oportunity(spelling) to stand still isn't a bad thing. Just like summoner can do god tier dps above everyone else when there is 2 targets to multidot.
The whole argument of caster should deal less dps than melee because we have range stoped being a thing in 2.1, but for some reason people still like to believe melee dps have it hard

They have to do something with astral fire because everything right now is too thight. We dont have the time for thundercloud proc. we dont have the time for firestarter proc (if it come from the fire I that refresh astral fire after 2 fire IV) moving out of an aoe remove one fire Iv from our rotation because we dont have the time to cancel a cast, Moving out of aoes too much mean you are likely to lose enochian unless you go in umbral ice with 10k mana left because we dont have the time to do shit. Everything was balanced around the idea of fighting a freaking dummy that doesnt fight back. Black mage need some sort of reward for being able to stand still for a decent period of time because right now our reward is mid tier dps. From a class who's *utility* skills are all weaker versions of things other classes already bring.

And don't get me started on the random screw up the game sometime throw at you when enochian is about to run out, you go in umbral ice, You're missing just a little bit of mana to cast blizzard IV, your mana decide to take 2 hours to tick making you lose enochian because blizzard IV take 2 weeks to cast after waiting 2.5 seconds for your first mana tick to arrive. Or when mechanic cancel blizzard IV (im looking at you floor 4)

So i don't know what you suggest but i don't know how they can give blm more time without extending astral fire or making blizzard IV always refresh enochian to 30seconds

I've played a lot of mmos over the years and i have never seen a class this clunky and annoying before

Clean up the skills , Consolidate the effects of useless ones into ones that are used so we can free up some skill bars ( every class has one or two )

Op wishlist:

Monk: either lower the amount of chakra stacks needed to 3 or take it off gcd.
Make fist of wind passive because who uses it anyways ?
Add HP increase or HP Leach to fist of earth ?
Extend GL stacks by a few seconds ( so much easier to lose now with the new skills factored into rotation )

MCH: Ditch the RNG and just make split/slug/clean a normal combo , Adjust potency to even out dps

Give summoner or SCH an ability to summon group members to them ( seen this in a few other games and always loved it )

PLD: Shield Bash OGCD
Shield toss/ Tomahawk and Fracture shouldn't break combo , same for DRK's if they do can't recall.

Nin: Fix Mudra lag .. lol

Not so much balance but don't make us have to withdraw companion to enter Duty finder / personal instances ect

Monk:
Tornado Kick takes too long to actually "hit". Leave the animation the way it is, but let the actually attack be instant, so its not wasted.
And some wishfulthinking: Make Purification be able to be used while we have 5 chakra stacks but NOT consume all 5 stacks.

From what I heard, BLM is 100 years from beating BRDs in term of clunkyness. Worst scenairo is we have to sacrifire a F4 for F1 which is 180 Potency lost. Swiftcast can be used for that. I mean, I haven't seen a fight where a melee destroyed my DPS with movement.

The one thing we need is SE fix Enochian so it fits our CD rotation because Enochian is delaying everything right now. They need to make Thundercloud more viable in the rotation. I don't see us needing an extended Astral Fire.

To be fair, there isn't heavy movement fights in 3.0 right now. I have to move sometimes but it doesn't kill my DPS.

Although I don't think we need it, if MCH got reload on 45s cd. Oh me oh my.

Monk

Meditation :
- Give us full 5 stacks at once when no aggro.
Reason : Just because of tanks who pull next pack of mobs without letting us reload 5 chakras + Form shift

Forbidden Chakra :
- Reduce base potency
- Use stacks of Chakras as a multiplier for Forbidden Chakra's power
Reason : Making it (Meditation) off-GCD might be too powerful, so this might be an alternative

Tornado Kick :
- Instant damage, then animation
Reason : Obvious

Dream within a dream needs a shorter recast it's super lackluster for a 60 ability and does too little for a 90 second cd.

Can we not include another mch change thread in here. The suggestions presented are downright ignorant in terms of game balance. If you make buffs on the lines of some of the suggestions here, MCH will destroy everything on dps.
