I do not think SE have said there will be a 24man version of Alexander. I think the next raid added will be the 24 man variety and my bet is on Ark which I talked about here.

Both normal and savage are 8 man. The new 24 man isn't coming until 3.1 and they haven't given any details at all on what it's going to be.

Raid content that was available in DF from the start.

Alexander normal is likely to be DF from the start while Alexander savage likely will be PF only, and likely never going DF at all.
