I think this logic is great for PF, but not so much for DF. I think that this logic is honestly part of the reason people struggled so much with Steps of Faith. Veteran players didn't want to take 10 minutes teaching you while you wiped them repeatedly, new players who were stubborn not listening/not wanting to learn because "I do waht I want."

I don't think there's anything wrong with your logic, but I do think that you should be considerate in terms of clearing content. ^_^ Still, I will never ask you to skip a CS, that is where I draw the line (Because to me, the dungouns attatched to a CS are done specifically for those CS's... Our current meta has that as a trial and a 4-man dungoun, whcih imo is great that they de-coupled it from 8 man content because the original main scenario roulette was aweful.)

I honestly think your logic of "I'll do what I want" is toxic, but I know you've also probably been yelled at for not doing it, and that's not acceptable either.

So... we need to put a game on hold because some people level slow, kay...

Funny thing iv hardly ever wiped by doing things on my own and when someones new and asks me or anyone for a run down do you think i say go watch youtube? Nope i explain it to them. And in my book Toxic are the players who bum rush everything and get bored after 2 weeks only to RQ after 1 wipe or cuss ppl out but wanting to learn on your own is far from toxic and fyi my logic is not ill do what i want but rather plz don't try and force me to look up how to do new content i mean there is already ppl RQ on new runs and that be toxic. But i understand what you mean if someone was just pulling and getting killed left and right {and doing what they want} just be be an ass that is very bad and toxic

This thread is so wrong, players being toxic about toxic players being toxic. At the end of the day we are lacking an end game raid, and thats the main driving point of the game, waiting until August/September is far too long, the time they gave us is spot on in my opinion. If you don't want to raid until you have multiple classes to 60, then don't, but you can't expect others who have put the hours in to wait for the new raids to be added so late. Just because groups are pushing the raids doesn't mean you have to if you're not ready.

On a note generalising end game raiders as asses who drop party after one wipe, or make people skip cutscenes etc is a tad narrow minded, you shouldn't judge groups based on individuals.

It's wrong? why go take a nice hard look at all the very pointless threads around maybe it's wrong because you disagree with it? i never asked SE to hold anything back i simply was saying my opinion about it. Which is i wish they wait a bit longer to bring stuff out but this thread is not a hey SE do this since i want it thread anyway iv seen countless threads about ppl begging for content faster {which i guess is not pointless and ok} anyway

I have been levelling comparatively slowly compared to other people, can't begrudge Square adding in fights for the crowd that have fully levelled just because I'm not max level, gotta think of the people who are maxed out already and need something to do other than grind out law and levelling alts.

Plus Alexander's not going anywhere, it will be waiting for you to slam your face against it until you win for sexy Alex loot.

only matters if you are doing a server first
otherwise just go when all your members are ready and enjoy =)

While I don't agree with the OP's original notion, being forced to skip cut scenes, or to read up on story dungeons is just sad.
