U only need early access key to play. So not haveing the key from the actual hard copy a week later will lock them out of the new content.

My collector's edition was damaged and I am returning it so yeah, please extend early access!

We can only hope.

I doubt Canada post would lie to me on the phone about mail being backed up in Customs. Anyone else with this issue will probably end up having paying an additional fee for Customs as well when their package is delivered.

I received a damaged CE and am waiting on the SE store to get back to me on what I should do about it. I sent them an e-mail on the 23rd and have yet to receive a response, and I would really like to not be locked out for who knows how long if I have to exchange my entire CE for a new one. I've already paid for the game so I would like to be able to continue playing it while I get this sorted out.

Ones about EA codes have you tried contacting SE support or the SE store? I know mods view these forums and pass on information but posting these kind of threads is like being blinded folded spun around and then throwing a dart and hoping to hit the correct target.

Agreed, but It's gotta be worth the shot.

I did try support, they just told me that I will be locked out until I get my package. They weren't helpful at all unfortunately...

I have, yes. I sent them an e-mail and called them yesterday. The CSR I got was very nice and helpful, but he was unable to do anything about the situation on his end because it was not his area and he did not have the authority. He acknowledged that the EA code situation might be a problem and apologized for it.
