True, that part is vague, but there aren't many things that "threaten the world by their very existance", as he states right afterwards. The primals do, due to their aether-consuming (after all, aether and crystals are what the Garleans are intersted in, too), and the Ascians do as well due to their very nature and also indirectly aether-consuming plans, scheming and helping with summoning stuff. (after mog, you can't really call it "monsters" anymore)

Dragons surely are a vicious, mighty, fearsome race for someone with a control-fetish - but I don't think the Garleans hate them enough to proclaim such a rigorous statement.

All these new voice actors and actresses... its gonna take some getting used to.

On topic though, I'm very curious why we become so buddy buddy with Ysayle. She's been so antagonistic towards us and Ishgard, and yet we seem to be having quite the quiet moment between us and Estinien.

One more theory from my part. The way the ascian is speaking to the WOD. Sounds like they know us the WOL or share the same blessings as us but to bring equilibrium they must turn to the dark side with their companions. The WOD is Manfilia.

To my understanding, Ysayle is very violently trying to teach us a lesson about serving Hydaelyn the right way. I'm led to believe she 1) is friends with Hraelsvelgr who is behind the recent heretic surge 2) knows about the Ascians, but letting Nidhogg's dragons Ishgard directly is her idea, not Hraelsvelgr's.

Makes me wonder if Zodiark is litterally Hydaelyn's other form, rather then a different crystal.

They sound the like the same actors to me, though Alph does seem to be using a different inflection; a little lighter, higher, maybe to sound more like a teenager? My hearing isn't the best though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

That new hood forming looks very similar to me. Those look like the same bone wings coming out his back, too.

Awesome catch. Hadn't noticed this but the bone spikes on the back and the way the hood and mask seem to hang much lower does indeed look a lot like the 1.0 ascian model. I know many have speculated if that model would ever be used again or if it was perhaps retconned. I hope this does indeed turn out to be the same model (or similar).

As for Kan-E it's fairly certain she was communing with the elementals. They rarely grant a boon without some kind of offering so I'm curious what they stand to gain from this. The 'drifting soul' could simply refer to someone that is lost though, not necessarily dead. They could use the lifestream to search the planet. Again though, this sounds like an awfully large request of beings that have thus far been somewhat volatile and ill tempered towards those inhabiting the Shroud. The Seedseer must be desperate.

What if the Scions are actually archons for the 12 and must be summoned and possessed akin to Shiva, so they have to bring Moenbryda back :O?!!!
