The game is around 15GB right now, the system requirements for the expansion says 30GB, if it includes the base game, the update should be around 15GB, pray for it to be well compressed.

Don't get crazy, it will most likely be compressed, around the 30%, 5GB or so lol.

It really would be nice to know how big the download will be, and when it will be available.

I am unable to get a net connection suitable for the 21st century where I live, so I can download 3.2 GB a day if I do nothing else online. No extra costs, but the speed is horrendous.

And i came from WOW as well hahah. The beauty of FF MMO is the community. While it is down most us who preordered would be pre-loading HW and i hope... the servers are as fast as Blizzard's, GOG and Steam ones. Downloading 25gb worth of data only took 45mins of my time from those 3 platform..

OH MY GOD... Seriously? You people really need to riot... The ISPs think they can do whatever the F they want...

I can get a MOBILE connection with like 3GB limit for not even 20$ over here... And all landline connections are monthly flat-rates with no limits to data.

I'll be working and sleeping til Friday AM anyways so no issue for me. I only play for 1-2 hrs during the week due to work and such so NP.

24 hour maintenance is good news :D! I hope everything is all good for the servers and that the patch is up early so everyone with slow internet can have it downloaded for early access ^^!
