He does. I put the 2.3 voiced cutscene on in Japanese once for the heck of it, and you know that line he has about "A warm hearth and a warmer welcome will be waiting for you"? In Japanese, it's "a warm bed."

I wish the Heaventurn of the Horse cutscenes were in the Journal...still kicking myself for not taking screenshots or a video

Yeah, I was disappointed that he didn't show up in 2015 Heavensturn. I don't mind that the EN track keeps him more serious for the serious story beats but it makes me sad that newer players haven't had much of a chance to see the other side of him.
