Nobuo Uematsu new interview

I would like it if Kumi Tanioka provided some tracks.

"Flowers on the Battlefield" was the most beautiful piece from XI by far, including the Sanctuary of Xi'tah, in my opinion. The Star Onions version is just amazing.

She also did the soundtrack for the Crystal Chronicles which was done primarily with actual natural instruments. Really helped pull me into the game more than Uematsu's synth pop. I always wait for them to do an orchestrated version of Uematsu's work, then I'll put that version into the game over the original version.

Not sure what kind of interview questioned you want from Nobuo about XIV, at a concert of his music and other FF music. He's not developing the game, he did his part and did the best job out of everyone working XIV.

But they did say something about XIV when we were there.

Watch the first 30 seconds of this, when he said "they'll get the platform fixed one of these days" you hear laughs in this video, but sitting in the back you should of heard the laughs turn to oooooos, especially with the Square Enix guys right in front of us.

That's a winning combo right there. Especially if you mean the real FF 3 not the U.S. 6-3.

I meant the Final Fantasy 3 that got re-released as Final Fantasy 6. Loved the story, and it was a VERY long story.

6 is really good but 3 is amazing. I honestly think the best aspects of XI were built on things invented in the real FF III the job system, exploration and secrets. There's just something very honest and pure about III's design that makes it a classic. The DS remake is frankly even better than the original in my opinion.
