I think the thought is if we can get enough 'outrage' in both communities, around a similar time, the developers are more likely to respond. At the advent of the personal housing prices, there was a lot of rage on the NA/EU forums, but there was also significant outrage in the JP forums to it as well.

Guess there is no RMT on the JP servers, because the demand isn't there.
Like someone else said, the fact there are gil buyers are why we have RMT

We have a lot of bots on Tonberry but I have gotten zero RMT tells/invites etc. I don't know who is making all the BLM bots though :/.

According to the last reply on that thread, they're going to close it.

We should all migrate to the JP servers. Either the RMT stay on NA and we'll live in peace, or they'll follow us and start harassing SE's precious JP fanbase, at which point they might consider doing something about it.

Most of the blame can be placed on people who buy gil, and the lack of punishment for cheating. It makes them think its ok, so it continues to happen and encourages others who wouldnt out of fear of punishment, to go out and buy. If someone gets a temp ban for buying gil I would love to see a small symbol by their name, it doesnt have to be permanent, but just something to shame people out of buying gil. The only way to stop it is by making it socially unacceptable.

Don't make threads in the JP forum. You know that amounts to exactly what the hell you people are complaining about. Just this year there has been 129 threads about RMT in the EN forums. Start doing that in the JP forum. that would be a great idea. /sarcasm

Thing is the permeation of rmt in the game is going to be a bigger problem with new players than with old. Its a lousy first impression too.

I don't think a thread in the JP is going to go far. But its clear people are running out of patience with this, and don't have much options in stopping it on their own.

JP could careless , they are happy now on they own servers (that looks like have no rmt),JP players suffered RMT on FFXI for years , they know how we feel, but i guess ...."it sucks to be you" is the answer.

there is only one solution, STOP BUYING , but since thats not gonna happen ...hope for SE to do something about it or start banning buyers and sellers

i guess SE will do a banwave in heavensward , ppl are gonna buy the expansion and be baned before they can even start enjoying it....the amount of QQ incoming...now this players banned are going to quit or rebuy the game and forced to redor the whole 2.0 in order to enjoy HW :D

SE doesnt ban on the spot they usually follow the buyer to the source and then banwave of death to everyone involved.

Do they just not care about retaining subs? So many people I know left the game because they feel nothing is done. I dont know what to think anymore. It is the most bizarre thing ever.
